In my experience, the number one reason why many people are scared about expressing themselves on stage is because they don’t want to “fall their hand”
Many people still think there’s a right and wrong speech. They spend a whole week trying to find the PERFECT speech.
But…
I’m gonna have to tell you this:
There’s NO perfect speech. There’s however, an authentic speech- a speech that is true to the heart of the speaker, a speech that is well brewed to represent the dignity of the subject in all sincerity.

Stop trying to craft a perfect speech.
Focus your resources instead on three major things:
1. Study the subject deeply. Know the facts before building an argument.
2. Find a personal angle to the topic. Let the message pass through you until it’s personal.
3. Focus on giving your audience WHATEVER they NEED to have a breakthrough.
Focus on what’s important to them. If you do, they’ll find you interesting.
Again,
There’s no perfect speech.
Give authentic speeches.
